December 2-9: Hosting week for Presbyterian Church in Geneva

As you likely know, on December 2 the Presbyterian Church in Geneva begins its first week hosting homeless families for Family Promise of Ontario County. Our guests arrive Sunday afternoon and stay in the church evenings and overnight until the following Sunday. Each morning that week they leave for the Day Center/school, returning to the church for an evening meal and overnight stay.

Christmas Joy Offering

“The perfect gift”

For those of us who gather together in Advent expectation, we know that the only perfect gift ever given was the one we received in Jesus Christ – a perfect gift from a gracious God. Although we cannot give the perfect gift, we can give generously to support our past, present and future leaders knowing that “every generous act of giving . . . . is from above.”

Article from the Parish Nurse

Dear Church Family,

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but not because of “much mistletoe-ing and hearts that are glowing” (although that does make it fun)!  It is the most wonderful time because we are celebrating the birth of our savior and His gift of salvation to us.  I think everyone will agree that is very wonderful!
