Advent in Adult Spiritual Formation
Sunday morning 9:15 to 10:15 in the South Parlor
Advent is often only considered a time before Christmas. But it is an opportunity for many things to happen in our lives. It is time for prayer, spiritual reflection and self-examination. The time is set aside to prepare for the coming of Christ. There is darkness to the season as we admit that everything is not good in the world and with ourselves. Advent is a time to regain hope and look for the light that is to come in Christ. We wait, we prepare, and we are ready when the King arrives!
