I just want to send out a reminder to everyone to beware of scams!  There are some lost souls out there who are calling people to say they are the IRS and need verification of bank accounts and social security numbers in order to direct deposit the “stimulus check” into their accounts.  THE IRS WILL NOT CALL YOU ON THE PHONE!!!  They don’t e-mail you either unless you reached out to them first.  There are many scams out there right now, never give your social security number or bank account numbers out to anyone over the phone or in an e-mail.  Please check on friends who are at risk to fall for a scam.  Remind them to be careful who they give information to.

Also, please stay home as much as possible.  Wear a mask when going out to a store or when you are around a group of people.  The CDC has instructions how to make cloth facemasks at cdc.gov/coronavirus.  You should wash them with detergent after you have been out for the day.

Everyone stay safe and well!  Beth
