Please join us on Sunday, October 31st as we celebrate the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost and remember All Saints Day. We will be offering two Sunday morning worship services, 8:15 am and 10:30 am, both in the sanctuary to allow more social distancing. The services will be led by Pastor Colin Pritchard and his message this week will be “Freedom Rules.” Click here to print, view or download this Sunday’s bulletin.
Childcare in the nursery will be available for children up to three years old for those attending the 10:30 am service.
Live Streaming of the 10:30 am worship service will be offered via The Presbyterian Church in Geneva YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCcajIdfWpDawLmpo0kzVw5Q for those who are unable to attend.
Sunday School has started up again, meeting each Sunday at 9:30 am in the upstairs classrooms. (masks will be worn)
We will be offering our virtual coffee hour as a stand-alone group ZOOM experience. This works just like the ZOOM meetings you are familiar with from Sunday services for most of the past year, except this is just for fellowship time. If you would like to gather and greet and reflect together please join the meeting immediately following the 10:30 am Sunday morning.
“Inspired” intro to the Bible with Pastor Colin began October 5th. For more information about this Bible study, click here.
Thank you for your support, participation, patience, and humor as we take these next steps forward into all the good possibilities of our “new normal”.
Per the Ontario County Department of Public Health, due to the change of status in Ontario County to a SUBSTANTIAL TRANSMISSION rate, they are strongly recommending that masks be worn by all individuals indoors. Therefore, based on those recommendations, The Presbyterian Church in Geneva is also STRONGLY recommending the use of face masks when in the building, even when seated. As of this time, there are no new recommendations regarding social distancing so our current methods will remain the same: the south section of the sanctuary will be available, with social distancing, for those who are not vaccinated or would just prefer to keep more distance, and the middle and north sections will be open for everyone else, and every other pew will be roped off to allow for some distancing, just not the full six feet.
We would also ask that if you are coming into the church for a meeting or to speak to a staff member that you also wear a face mask.
This policy will remain in effect until such time that Ontario County Department of Public Health changes their recommendations.
Thank you for your consideration, cooperation, and patience during these changing times.
