Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song and sing praises.
Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the sound of melody.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
make a joyful noise before the Lord.
Psalm 98:4-6
Come, Join a Choir

     OK, perhaps you don’t want to sing but you would still like to make “joyful noises to the Lord.” Here is your opportunity to join the Bell Choir and ring your praise. We rehearse on Monday evenings from 5:15 to 6:15. Give me a call so we can prepare for you.

“If I cannot fly, let me sing.” Stephen Sondheim

     Or you would like to join our active and vibrant adult choir which meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00 until 8:00. The choir is open to all adults and high school students who enjoy singing. While we sing for Sunday Worship though out the year and for special occasions such as Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunday, and the Sacred Song Service, we welcome you to come for any season or time you are available. Our repertoire includes anthems from many periods and styles as well as psalm settings, hymns and service music. Singers in the choir enjoy learning and singing together as well as being spiritually enriched in a musical way and by the camaraderie of friends. Come and join us for the year or for the season or for whatever time you can. If you are interested and have more questions, please call Richard Cox at 908-684-0995 or come to a rehearsal and see what it is like.

“Singing in a choir is cheaper than therapy, healthier
than drinking, and more fun than working out.”
