Hello Church Family!
Are you curious about the Vital Congregations Initiative? Wondering if it is the right fit for your church? We are offering three opportunities to learn more about this new opportunity here in the Presbytery.
* You can tune into a Zoom meeting on Monday February 17th at 1pm. This is the easiest option because it doesn’t involve driving! Just log into the meeting and listen. The website to log on is https://zoom.us/j/561928896 or call 1-646-558-8656 and enter the meeting ID: 561 928 896
* You can come to a meeting in the public room of Geneva Library on Thursday February 27th at 5:30. Come and learn a bit more about what VCI is and ask what questions you might have.
* Finally, the Small Church network is opening up its meeting on Saturday March 7th at 9:30 at First Presbyterian Church of Watkins Glen. This meeting will cover the same information as the other two, but with an additional emphasis on small churches. If you are at a larger church, but are unable to attend either of the two meetings, you are welcome to join this one. ( View the March Small Church Network Flyer ).
You don’t have to be a pastor to attend any of these events,–just enthusiastic about potentially bringing VCI to your church. We hope to see you at one of these meetings to dig a little deeper into VCI and what it might mean for your congregation!
