Lenten Bible Study
February and March 2019
Friday Evenings 6:00pm to 8:00pm

The Gospel of Luke is one of the foundational books of the Bible.  Luke is filled with stories of Jesus’ teaching and life including the richness of the Gospel teachings.  As we finish our study of the themes of this Gospel, we will begin to incorporate the teachings of this text into our lives and our faith traditions.  Please join us on Friday evenings in February and March as we complete our study of this important Gospel.

The Lenten Study will begin on February 15, at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.  We will share a meal of soup, bread, and fruit at 6pm followed by the discussion of Luke from 7pm to 8pm.

During Lent last year, we completed lessons 1-7 in the Kerygma Study Book “Good News For All: The Gospel Of Luke”.  We will begin our study with a review of the material studied in 2018 and then begin our 2019 study on Lesson 8.  Our final session will be on April 5.

Please join us as we complete our study of this exciting Gospel.  It is a wonderful evening shared with friends and an opportunity to learn what the Bible says to us in our daily lives.

(If you will need a study book, “Good News for All: The Gospel of Luke”, please contact Diana Capron as soon as possible.)
