SELF-HELP SEWING CLASSES
WEDNESDAYS, 9:00 am to 11:15 am
Since the church is planning on reopening for meetings and outside groups, the Self-Help Sewing classes will be resuming in September. We are looking for help with leadership of this outreach effort, as well as new participants that want to improve their sewing skills.
If you’ve never attended one of these classes, but have an interest in sewing, please join us on Wednesday mornings in the Fellowship Hall starting September 15, 2021 at 9:00 am. This group of women and men work on their own sewing projects, with the assistance of experienced teachers. Some of the completed projects have included quilts, wall-hangings, articles of clothing, curtains, and table-runners. Sewing machines are available to use during class times. Participants also volunteer to bring a snack for our times together.
The fall class session will begin September 15 and run for 10 weeks (ending November 17). The tentative spring class session will begin February 16, 2022 and run for 11 weeks (ending April 27).
If you have any questions, please contact the church office or Beth Reiners (315-789-3761 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
